All About Us...

Tired of the city? Well, the relaxing countryside isn't so far away - it's as close as Swansea, Massachusetts!

We have alot to offer here at Simcock Farm, particularly from May through October. The animals are here for you to watch and feed; there's a super country vegetable stand and a wonderful, treat-filled ice cream stand.

Our animals include cows, a donkey, goats, rabbits, chickens and more...let's not forget Blondie, the beloved resident pooch of the place. You can watch them laze and graze, but, their curiosity usually gets the best of them as they come over to visit you. (Go to "Favorite Critters" for a closer look.)

Our stand not only has our own delicious produce, but also added items such as Sardinha's chourico, baked goods, pickled goods, eggs, drinks, and a hot weather favorite, frozen lemonade. We also have a selection of "Home Interior" candles and crafts.

Make sure you stop by at harvest time for our excellent selection of pumpkins and squash, flowers and harvest decorations.

We also, are known for our 'pick-your-own' plum tomatoes and our hot portuguese peppers, available by the pound or the bushel.

Who can resist the lure of a New England ice cream stand during a Sunday afternoon drive? We have a great selection of ice cream flavors..how about a cone of blueberry or purple cow? We also serve sugar-free and lowfat frozen yogurts and ice cream and, of course, low-carb ice cream. Take the family out for a cone of a classic favorite, like orange pineapple, rum raisin or frozen pudding. Our sundaes include brownie sundaes, peppermint pattie sundaes, p'nut butter cup sundaes and strawberry shortcake sundaes. Malts, frappes and specialty items like chocolate chip cones and waffle bowls and more are also available. We even have special ice cream for your own 'beloved resident pooch.'

Take 195 West to Exit 4B (Somerset, MA), bear right off the exit. Go left at a set of lights onto Brayton Point Road. Continue through the set of lights*** to a stop sign at the end of the road (you'll go past the Stop & Shop Plaza). Go left onto Read Street then, immediately right onto Hot & Cold Lane (a water tower will be on the right with baseball fields). Follow to the stop sign at the end of the road, then go left onto Stevens Road. Continue on Stevens Road to second right (at the power lines) which is Sharps Lot Road. Continue on Sharp's Lot Road to a 4-way stop. Go right on Marvel Street. The farm will be approximately one-half mile on the left.

Take 195 East to Exit 4 (Lee's River Ave). Bear right off the exit to a set of lights (a Shell gas station will be in front of you). Take a left at the lights - continue to the next set of lights and follow the directions from ***above.

Take Route 24 South to a fork in the highway - Route 79 - bear right onto Route 79. Take the second exit (Somerset/Brightman Street Bridge). Continue over the bridge to the third set of lights (Burger King will be on the left). Go right onto Brayton Point Road and follow the directions from ***above.
